Tuesday's Top Performers around New England

 

 

Massachusetts

Sophomore Elizabeth Belanger scored 34 points and 10 rebounds in Acton Boxboro's win

Asia Ewing tallied 19 points and 10 rebounds as Westford Academy topped Arlington, 59-30, in the Dual County League.

Julie Manning registered 26 points and 18 rebounds for Hull  in a 75-52 win against Harwich in the South Shore League.

West Bridgewater junior forward Katie Harris scored a season-high 35 points, rocketing West Bridgewater past Southeastern.

Ashland sophomore guard Blake Underhill scored 13 points and pulled down nine rebounders. Molly Breen had 29 point in a losing effort for Millis against Ashland

Pentucket’s Ashley Viselli scored 18pts in their 67-36 victory over Manchester Essex including her 1000 career points.

Senior Hannah Brickley had 17 points and 10 rebounds in Melrose victory over Reading

Lynn English defeated Lynn Classical behind Jencia Duggins 22pts 8 assists and 7 steals

Junior Kellie McDonald has 24 points and 13 rebounds in Danvers victory over Gloucester

Barnstable senior forward Alex Rurycz had 18 points and 12 rebounds in their victory over Attleboro


New Hampshire

Kyla Gustavson and Kelly Nolan scored 16 and 15 points respecitively in Nashua North's win over Dover

Kristen Hrubowchak had a big night for the locals with 19 points, seven rebounds and 10 steals for Campbell over Farmington

Christan Wojtas had a big night for Soughegan with 22 points and seven rebounds, while Jane White added 11 points, eight assists and four steals

Alex Cohen scored a team-high 16 points and had three steals, including one that led to a bucket with 15 seconds left in overtime that sealed the victory for Bishop Guertin over Timberlane

Senior center Rosa Drummond netted a game-high 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds for Portsmouth. Junior point guard Ali Beauregard added 16 points.

Megan Hardiman 18 points, 11 rebounds and Kate Mullen 16 points, 12 rebounds led the way for Merrimack Valley

Melissa Frase scored 22 pointsto lead Kennett over Bishop Brady.

Vermont

Freshman Kari Lavalette scored 13 points in Essex’s defeat St. Johnsbury.

Ellen Boucher and Reagan Jewell tossed in 16 points apiece and Rice held off Spaulding.

Rachel Crews racked up 16 points and 10 rebounds and South Burlington stopped Mount Abraham.

Emma Joslin scored 16 points and Anna Bingham tossed in 13 for North Country and Shelby Labarge had 14 points and Sammy Barrette added 10 for BFA St Albans


Connecticut

Raven Wright-James scored 15-points and Ebonie Ellison added 10 as Middletown defeated Bulkeley

Amber Bepko scored 19 and Sadie Edwards had 14 for Mercy

Morgan got 12 points from Keley Carlson and 10 from Sarah Thompson. East Hampton was led by Kelsey Booth with 15 pts

Sara Kelley had 20pts and Riley Wurtz 14pts in Newtown defeated New Fairfield 


Maine

Kayla Burchill scored 17 points as visiting Deering beat Kennebunk.

Meghan Dehetre, who scored a team-high 18 points, hit her four 3-pointers in the first quarter to help Gray-New Gloucester defeated Yarmouth.

Rebecca Knight scored 16 points as McAuley defeated Bonny Eagle

Morgan Woodhouse scored 15 of her game-high 17 points in the second half, including 10 in the fourth quarter, to help Waynflete defeat Traip Academy
