Wednesday's New England State Tournament Results

WMASS and RI state semifinal results. CT quarterfinal action



WMass State Semifinal

Divsion 1
East Longmeadow beat Shepherd Hill 55-53. Krista Ferrentino led them with a game high 22 points. Laurie Bonano added 13 and Ariel Ward 11. East Longmeadow will face Andover Saturday at the Mass Mutual Center in Worcester

Divistion 2

Julie Frankian scored 21 points and Chelsea Perkins chipped in 16 as Millbury beat Palmer 49-29. Millbury will play the Oliver Ames in the State Final

Division 3

Lee go 14 points from Tara Dooley and 13 points and 10 rebounds from freshman Stephanie Young. Lee will face Pentucket.


Rhode Island State Semifinals

Division I Semifinals

Woonsocket defeated Bay View 58-48 behind Brooke Coderre 19 points. Nikki Stacy Led Lasalle with 12 as they defeated South Kingstown 55-45. The two will meet Saturday in the state finals
Divsion II seminfinal

Liz Cruso had a game high 12 points to lead Westerly past Prout 42-38.  In the other semifinal Mary Toth had 21 points in Chariho defeat of Tolman, in what is believe to be their first trip ever, 53-35.  The two will meet Saturday at the Ryan Center for the state finals

Division III Semifinal

Mount Pleasant upset defending state champion Central Falls. Center Latiana German dominated the paint on both ends with 19 points. Despite Mikaela Garvin's 22 points, North Smithfield led by a balance attack and Anissa Robitaille 9 points North Smithfield was able to beat Hope 55-49

New Hampshire State Semifinals

Class I

Kennett of Conway edged Portsmouth 42-41. Top seeded Lebanon beat Portsmouth 42-41. The finals are set for Friday night at SNHU
