New England's Gatorade Players of the Year

Kastine Evans, CT Norwich Free Academy G - Evans committed to attend the University of Kentucky. Evans, a scorer, has a 20.0 points per game average.

Lauren Battista, MA Oliver Ames HS G/F - Battista committed to Bentley University. The 6-foot senior forward/guard averaged 22.7 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals a game. In the semifinal win over Melrose, Battitsta tallied a game-high  21 points and 12 rebounds.

Nicole Taylor, ME York HS C - Taylor averaged 16.5ppg as well as 9.5rpg and led York to its second straight Western Maine Class B title. Taylor is only a junior.

Tiffany Ruffin, NH Winnacunnet HS PG - Ruffin is committed to attend Boston College. She averaged 16 points, eight assists, four rebounds, and three steals

Allie Jones RI, South Kingstown HS C - Jones is committed to atted St Joseph's University and averages 18.6 ppg

Allison Gannon,  VT Champlain Valley Union HS F - The 5-foot-9 senior forward led the Redhawks (17-5) to the Division I quarterfinals this season, averaging 14.7 points, 8.2 rebounds, 2.6 steals and 1.0 block per game. She will Oberlin College
