Recapping the top players for Mass Premier Summer League

Mass Premier Summer League
Foxboro, Ma.

Lexi Sells:  Bishop Feehan H.S; this incoming junior has an all around great game.  With a consistent pull up jumper from anywhere on the court, a shot from behind the arc and the capability to drive and finish with contact, she is extremely difficult to stop offensively.  Lexi is also a reliable rebounder and knows how to draw defenders to set up other players.  She has great fundamentals and always hustles to the ball .

Kerri Coyne: North Attleboro H.S; Kerri is a 5’10 shooting guard with the instinct to go left.  She is a solid passer with the ability to set up her teammates.  Kerri will be a junior at NA next season.

Jill Cullen: North Attleboro H.S; The will be junior plays guard for NA.  She is an excellent outside shooter averaging 13.8ppg as a sophomore.  Sees the court well with a great understanding of the game, can get to the basket strong.  Jill earned Hockomock All-star and Sun-chronicle all-star honors last season.

Marissa Cicchetti: Bishop Feehan H.S; Point guard with a quick pull up jumper.  Moves the ball well in transition and is a quality ball handler.

Kate Kummer: North Attleboro H.S; Kate plays the post position at NA high school where she is entering her sophomore year.  She takes her time down low and is smart both offensively and defensively.  Kate’s strength in the post will be near impossible to match for any high school competition

Paige Harrington: Mansfield High School; Great inside out game with the ability to post up then hit a three next time down the floor.  Hustles on both ends of the court and boxes out well.  She is a big defensive obstacle in the center of the key, making it very difficult for opponents to make any long passes.

Colleen Copley: Mansfield High School; post with good size inside, she knows how to block shots without drawing the foul and can do so consistently.  Her athleticism is evident in any situation on the floor though her vertical jump makes her an excellent rebounder and allows her to play above her opponents under the basket.

Meghan Keohane: Mansfield High School; all around game on both ends of the floor.  She is a post that runs the floor very well, good inside out passer, rebounds, quick release, utilizes the backdoor cut regularly, knows how to get to the basket and can finish with contact.

Katie McCarthy: Mansfield High School; lefty point guard who pushes the ball in transition, nice outside shot.  Katie is impressive defensively as she works hard to play in your face defense and is quick enough to stay with her player and impair her court vision.

Lauren Perra: Taunton High School; averaged 14pts and 5assits last season as a point guard.  She has a great handle and sees the floor well.  Works hard on and off the ball.

Gracie Harrigan: Taunton High School; center, averaged 10pts, 10 reb. and 6 blocks last season as a sophomore.  Gets the job done inside and is an excellent passer who can set up her teammates.  Gracie was second to her point guard in assists last season.

Erica McGreevy: Taunton High School; the will be junior plays guard at Taunton.  She plays an aggressive game on both ends of the floor, a solid shooter and knows how to drive through traffic and can finish with contact.

Taylah Pelote: Taunton High School; as a sophomore she averaged 6pts and 6 reb a game.  Her junior year is likely to be her break out season as the now 6’0 junior is really coming into her game, she is extremely athletic and works hard down low on both offense and defense.

Caitlin Saw: Taunton High School; the 5’9 will be senior averaged 5pts, 5reb, last season, she plays forward but can handle the ball well to drive, a solid rebounder with the ability to finish with contact.
