Hoop Mountain Fall Showcase - Class of 2013 Event Recap

Youth was served. The class of 2013 was tremendously talented at the Hoop Mountain Fall Showcase



The Hoop Mountain Fall Exposure event at Boston University this past Sunday had nearly  90 on-looking college coaches as 135 of New England’s most talented prospects showcased their talent.

Here is a look of those who impressed from the Class of 2013

Alex Cohen 5'9, 2, Tilton School - Great shooter who sets people up very well with her passes.

Brittany Lommano 5'3, 1, Billerica HS - Tremendous point guard who score, create and is a tremendous passer. Great court vision

Elizabeth Laing 5'7, 1,2, Pinkerton Academy - Did a good job directing traffic and moved very well without the ball

Asia Mitchell 5'8 2,1 Oliver Ames - Good scorer who can run the show

Indira Evora 5'6, 1, Somerville HS - Nice range, can shoot well off dribble and catch, explosive first step 

Gena Restiano 5'5, 1,2, Revere HS - Ran the show very well. Nice crossover. Used her fakes well to create. Went strong to lane and showed a nice outside jumperKelsey Brown 5'11 4 Oyster River HS - Versatile inside out player with good shot

Kylie Libby 6'0, 2,3, Cheverus HS - Strong inside around the goal.  Good post moves. Runs really well in transition to create opportunities

Natalie Leone 5'9, 2,3, Ashland HS - Athletic wing who equally adept at scoring inside or out

Alyssa Reaves 5'11, 5, Northwest Catholic - Strong, physical post who has good feet and moves well inside

Sarah Hope 5'7, 1,2, Medway HS - Guard with a good understanding of how to run a team and can score it in a variety of ways

Allison Griffin 5'9, 1,2, Tabor Academy - Smart guard who can play either position very well. Solid defeder

Ashley Lutz 6'2, 3,4, Lincoln Sudbury HS- Long wing with a solid ability to score

Sarah Merchant 6'0, 4,3, Algonquin HS - Tough interior presence who played hard all day, solid boxes outs and rebounds and shot it with range

Katy Hicks 6'0, 3,4, Ursuline Academy - Hard working wing/post who tracks down ball and does not mind using her body in traffic

Kayla Burton 5'7", Newton South HS Burton is a tough athletic point guard who sets up her teammates for easy hoops.



New England Junior Elite 75 Showcase

The Junior Elite 75 will host the top middle school players in New England and provide them with early exposure, the best in skill development, and discussion sessions educating them about what to expect from the high school level and the world of recruiting.
